Below are answers to some of the questions we are frequently asked. If the answer you need isn’t here, please get in touch.

Our savings accounts are available to organisations operating and paying tax in the UK. We accept applications from sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, limited liability partnerships, charities, clubs, societies, associations, parish councils and trusts. Unfortunately, our SME accounts are not suitable for individual Pension Schemes.

Yes, you can open as many accounts as you want, subject to the overall deposit limit and entity limits for the account. Please view the relevant product summary box on our savings account page for more information.

We undertake checks to verify the identity of the organisation and associated individuals applying for the account, including electronic identity checks on the relevant people. If we are unable to verify the identity or personal address of any individual, we will ask them to provide us with some relevant ID documents.

This should be the total assets (fixed and current assets) reported for your organisation at your last financial year-end (or at inception if you have not yet completed a full financial year).

Credit Unions and Mutual Societies can apply by selecting the most relevant organisation type from the list to download an application form.

Once you start the application, you have 28 days in which to complete it, if completing online. During this time, you will be able to save your application and return to it as many times as you wish. Please note that the advertised interest rate could change, or the product could be withdrawn, before you submit your application.

Yes, we will require original signatures from all signatories and the individuals who are authorising the opening of the account.

You will get a confirmation to say we have received your application and we will keep you updated throughout the process.

Interest is added to your savings account. If you have chosen a fixed rate bond with a term of more than one year or a notice account and you would like your interest paid to your nominated current account, please let us know. When interest is paid, varies by account type. This information can be found when you are logged into online account access, by selecting the relevant account from the ‘My accounts’ tab and also in your Terms & Conditions.

Where your account allows, and when your account is open to additional deposits, you can pay funds via an electronic payment from your nominated current account or with a cheque (made payable to your organisation). To pay in you will need to use the sort code and 8-digit account number that we provided in your welcome letter. You can find details about when your account is open/closed for deposits at www.ccbank.co.uk/addingfunds or by calling us on 0344 225 3939.

Cheques must be made payable to the name of the organisation in which the account is held. We cannot accept Building Society current accounts with roll numbers as nominated business current accounts.

The current terms & conditions for the account can be found on the savings account pages or through the Savings Help Centre.

Yes, you can save and resume your application as many times as necessary (within the 28-day period you have to submit your application). However, you will need your application reference number and remember your password as it is not possible to reset this.

All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest to industry best practice and sensitive servicing operations require multi factor authentication. Our systems are continuously monitored by third parties to assure they are always secure.
