Senior Credit Underwriter

Location: Leicester with Hybrid Working  Salary: £55,000-£70,000pa ​

We are looking for someone to join our Underwriting team, to assess the credit and risk profiles of customers within the Pensions/Professions/Real Estate market, ascertaining the acceptability of proposals and providing recommendations or alternative solutions where appropriate.

You would ensure that all recommendations for lending sanctions are compliant with the Banks, and regulatory policies. There would also be the opportunity to support the Team Manager, and Director of Credit, if required.

About you ​

For this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • ​Significant previous experience as a Credit Underwriter in a Commercial Real Estate environment.
  • A wide knowledge of the commercial environment and sector specialism including pensions, real estate lending and the SME market
  • Knowledge of the relevant rules under the financial services acts
  • Knowledge of the financial management and wider management standards and techniques
  • A good understanding of Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly requirements relevant to credit operations
  • The ability to interpret and implement relevant guidance, ensuring compliance and due regard is paid to the interests of customers and customers are treated fairly. ​

Credit Portfolio Manager (Asset Finance Flow)

Location: Reading with hybrid working  Salary: £30,000-£40,000pa

We are looking for someone to provide support to the Head of Credit Asset Finance Flow, to ensure that all post sanction procedures are completed and compliant with our policies and procedures.

You would complete annual reviews for all accounts required under our Lending Policy and assist the with the preparation of appropriate MI reports.

For this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • The ability to take ownership of tasks and to follow those tasks through to completion in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Knowledge of the relevant rules under the financial services acts
  • Knowledge of financial management and the wider management standards and techniques
  • The ability to interpret and implement relevant guidance, ensuring compliance and due regard is paid to the interests of customers and customers are treated fairly
  • Excellent oral / written communication and organisational skills

Credit Underwriter (Asset Finance Flow)

Location: Reading with hybrid working  Salary: £50,000-£55,000pa ​

The role is to support the Head of Credit Asset Finance Flow to ensure all credit application detail is as described and complies with Lending Policy.

The successful candidate will produce high quality investigation and provide recommendations & solutions to satisfy customer needs and business objectives. ​

You would also complete annual reviews for those required under Lending Policy and support with the preparation of appropriate MI reports. ​

If you have experience in underwriting, working knowledge of lending principles and credit analysis for small ticket transactions, then we’d love to hear from you! ​ About you ​

For this role you will need the following skills and experience:        ​
