Earlier this year Cambridge & Counties Bank reported that they had reached a significant milestone, with their total balance sheet rising above £1bn, up 17% on the previous year.

More recently, the Bank announced a promotion waiving the documentation fees on all asset classes (excluding classic car finance), driving interest in their products and saving clients up to £200 per deal. This is available for applications received and approved by the 30th September 2019

Broker World caught up with Simon Hilyer, Senior Business Development Manager and Joanne Harris, Lending Marketing Manager at Cambridge & Counties Bank to find out more about their asset finance offering and the new promotion.

Simon Hilyer, Senior Business Development Manager at Cambridge & Counties Bank said,

“The Bank has now been running for 7 years, we’re finding that our reputation for providing a first-class service is growing and we’re really starting to set ourselves apart from our competitors. Our service combined with experienced staff is winning us repeat business. New brokers are contacting us who have never used us before and they too are benefiting from our sensible approach to lending and our ability to deliver on what we say.

We don’t have online portals, instead we offer shorter reporting lines and all our deals are structured by Business Development Managers who have years of industry experience, with our brokers giving us the feedback that they enjoy our traditional ways of working. Continued expansion of our front line team in the North West region is testament to our commitment to providing brokers and clients with a personal service that is first class”.

Joanne Harris, Lending Marketing Manager at Cambridge & Counties Bank added,

“The whole team at Cambridge & Counties Bank work together to offer our brokers and clients a service that brings back the great elements of traditional banking. The solutions and services we provide are both efficient and practical. We take a personal approach to each deal and really go the extra mile to understand our client’s needs. Since launching, we’ve frequently been told by brokers and direct clients alike that they feel valued by us. I would encourage anyone who hasn’t used Cambridge & Counites Bank before to get in touch and speak to our experienced team.

Brokers sit at the heart of our business and it’s imperative that we provide a great service with straightforward products. During the summer all asset classes, apart from classic cars, are included in the promotion. Our Business Development Managers will complete the agreement documentation and can also offer a same day pay-out. This is intended to help brokers get deals over the line by saving time and helping to structure a deal, which may be complex.”
