How do I open and manage my account?

Account Opening.

  • A minimum initial deposit of £0 must be made within five working days of us notifying you of your account number, with a maximum balance (excluding interest) of £0.
  • We reserve the right to close the account if the balance is not maintained above £0
  • You may not deposit more than £10m in total across all the accounts you hold with Cambridge & Counties Bank.
  • Any deposits must come from the organisation’s nominated current account with a UK based Bank or Building Society by transfer or cheque.

  • You can make additional deposits into your account on any working day, provided the account remains open for deposits. You will find details of when accounts are open for additional deposits on our website at ccbank.co.uk/addingfunds or by calling us. We will provide seven days’ notice of any change on our website. See terms & conditions, Section 5.12 for more details

Can I withdraw money?

  • If you would like to make a withdrawal, you will need to give us 45 days’ notice through the online savings service, by phone, or complete a notice to withdraw form which is available at ccbank.co.uk/savingshelp and return this to us by post or email.
  • Once the notice period has expired, we’ll transfer the agreed funds to your nominated current account and they will arrive no later than the following working day. Interest will continue to accrue on the balance during the notice period up to and including the day prior to the day we transfer the agreed funds to your nominated account.
  • You may also transfer funds to other Notice Business Savings accounts with Cambridge & Counties Bank. If you wish to do so, please contact us.

  • AER (Annual Equivalent Rate) illustrates what the interest rate would be if the interest is paid and compounded once each year.
  • Interest is paid gross. It is your responsibility to pay any tax that may be owed to HMRC.
  • If you are a micro-enterprise which is a business which employs fewer than 10 people and has a turnover or annual balance sheet of no more than €2 million (or its equivalent) or are a charity with an annual income of less than £1m, you can close your account at any point within the first 14 days of the day you receive a copy of your terms & conditions, without penalty.
