Application Development Manager

Location: Leicester with hybrid working    Salary: £65,000pa ​

We are looking for an Application Development Manager to lead a team of developers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions within the Bank. ​

Do you have high level technical skills, leadership abilities, and project management experience? ​

Could you manage the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment? ​

About you ​

For this role you will need the following: ​

  • Previous Line Management experience
  • Ability to communicate with, and influence, internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage projects in a blended Agile/Waterfall environment.
  • A proven ability to evolve/transition legacy systems into modern fit for purpose solutions, reverse engineering solutions where necessary.
  • Development experience in the Microsoft technology stack – WISA, VS.NET, SSIS, TSQL
  • Development experience in Microsoft Azure technology stack – Dynamics, Power Platform, Azure SQL, Dataverse
  • Experience with middleware and API integration solutions.
  • Knowledge of application and communication protocol security.
  • Experience designing and developing resilient enterprise level solutions.
  • Previous experience of working within financial services is desirable. ​ ​

Data Services Manager

Location: Leicester with hybrid working    Salary: £65,000pa

We are looking for a Data Services Manager to lead a team of data professionals to design, develop, and maintain data systems and services.

Do you have high level technical skills, leadership abilities, and project management experience?

Could you manage the data services lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment?

About you

For this role you will need the following:

  • Previous Line Management experience
  • Experience as a DBA and Data Developer within the MS Stack.
  • Excellent skills in TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, SPROC and Function development.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server (2017), Visual Studio, MS 365, .Net, .Net 5, C#, WPF, ASP.Net, REST.
  • Experience or familiarity with Azure, MS Dynamics, Synapse, or similar tools.
  • Experience of design, implementation, and management of data warehouse.
  • Understanding and experience with MS CDMs would be an advantage.
  • Experience of Snaplogic / ADF or other middleware would also be advantageous. ​
