Financial Systems Accountant

Location: Leicester with hybrid working    Salary: £60,000-£70,000pa ​

We are looking for someone to manage the control and integrity of our financial data and processes.

You would ensure that data interfaces operate efficiently, and subsequent management information provided to support decision making is accurate and timely.

You would be responsible for ensuring all appropriate processes and controls are evidenced as adhered to and all financial information is complete, accurate and appropriately controlled.

About you ​

For this role you will need the following skills and experience: ​

  • Prior experience of collating, managing, and analysing large volumes of data from a range of sources.
  • Prior experience of developing in IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 essential.
  • Ability to work and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Experienced Cognos TM1 user.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with good problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience of administering databases and managing manual data feeds would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience of Workday Prism Analytics would be advantageous
  • Qualified or part qualified Accountant or Financial Services experience would be advantageous. ​ ​

Test Manager (12 month FTC)

Location: Leicester with hybrid working Salary: £60,000pa ​

We are looking for someone to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract, to support us with two key initiatives. As a priority, we will be working with partners KPMG to implement ‘Workday’ to provide general ledger and financial reporting capabilities as a replacement for existing systems (and therefore requiring a migration of data). Further to this, we will be working with PSL to deliver and upgrade our existing core servicing platform.

For both initiatives, you will provide assurance as to the quality of the systems delivered – specifically that our business processes can be successfully completed.

As the Test Manager for the programme, you will work with the Programme Manager, Programme team, internal test resources, internal subject matter experts, and key delivery partners to deliver the end-to-end planning, management, governance, and successful delivery of all testing phases for both initiatives.

About you

For this role you will need the following skills and experience: ​

  • Excellent senior-level stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills – able to succinctly and clearly articulate testing critical paths and summarise progress and defects
  • Ability to manage a complex set of test activities with multiple interdependencies to the wider programme and portfolio
  • Ability to prioritise defects according to impact on programme timelines and overall solution quality
  • A pragmatic approach to delivering at pace within the Change Policy framework and a regulated environment ​

Business Analyst (6 month FTC)

Location: Leicester with hybrid working   Salary: £55,000-60,000pa ​

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Transformation team on a 6 month fixed term contract. You will be involved in initiatives across the Transformation portfolio working with internal business specialists, stakeholders and third-party IT suppliers to help deliver against our exciting and evolving change agenda.

​You will deliver a range of activities including the documentation of business requirements, data analysis, mapping existing and to be processes and help define innovative solutions to meet business objectives. ​

You will be an integral member of the Transformation team working alongside fellow business analysts, project managers and testers to deliver the change agenda. ​

About you ​

For this role you will need the following skills and experience: ​

  • Data flows and data process mapping
  • Demonstrable knowledge of and experience working with business analysis and project management principles, e.g. RAID logs, Project plans, Business Requirements, Process Maps etc.
  • Demonstrable experience / training in analysis methodologies (e.g. BCS certification in BA Practice and / or Requirements Engineering or equivalent)
  • Experience working with teams of internal employees, contractors and consultants across multiple locations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience of financial services is desirable ​
