2025: A Year of Impact, Innovation and Partnership

As we close the chapter on 2025, we’re proud to reflect on a year defined by progress, purpose, and partnership. At Cambridge & Counties Bank, our mission remains clear: to be the specialist bank of choice delivering , relationship-led banking that helps our customers and communities thrive.

Making Finance Simpler and Faster

This year, we introduced Title Insurance for property investment loans up to £3.5m, enabling completions in as little as 21 days, a direct response to broker and customer feedback. We also launched our online Property Finance Calculator, giving brokers instant indicative figures for investment deals between £150k and £500k, and rolled out a digital Charity Savings Account application, removing paperwork and making life easier for the sector.

Michelle Lawson, Director, Lawson Financial

“Working with Cambridge & Counties Bank was brilliant – if only all lenders were the same! From the outset, they gave clear guidance, stuck to their word, and provided a single point of contact who made the process seamless. After a decline from another lender, CCB stepped in, understood the client’s needs, and delivered – completing the deal in just 21 days from application to drawdown.”

Driving Growth Through Partnerships

Our £150 million partnership with Assetz Capital unlocked new funding for SME housebuilders, supporting sustainable regional development. We also strengthened our commitment to charities with a dedicated service for organisations holding £1 million+ deposits, as well as a new end-to-end digital application process for charity savings account applications, and deepened sector engagement through our partnership with the Charity Finance Group.

Stuart Law, CEO, Assetz Capital

“This partnership with Cambridge & Counties Bank is another major endorsement of the quality, scale, and stability of the platform that we’ve built over the past decade and more. Borrowers will now benefit from an even deeper and diverse institutionally funded marketplace with a full product suite for all property-backed transactions.”

Delivering Real-World Impact

In 2025, we supported a wide range of businesses across the UK, each with unique ambitions and challenges. From luxury venues to local tourism, our focus was on providing tailored solutions that unlock growth and create lasting value.

Our approach is consistent: listen, understand, and act quickly. This year, that meant enabling expansion projects, supporting refinancing for stability, and funding developments that strengthen communities and local economies. Behind every transaction is a story of ambition, and we’re proud to play a part in turning those ambitions into reality.

Among the many success stories:

  • Rossington Hall: A multi-million-pound facility completed in just seven working days, helping a landmark venue realise its growth plans.
  • Eligo Towers Ltd: A refinancing deal that strengthened commercial property operations and supported future investment.
  • Cornerstone Commercial Finance: A partnership delivering funding across education, housing, manufacturing, and construction—sectors that drive regional prosperity.
  • Loch Lomond Castle Lodges: Finance for new self-catering lodges, boosting sustainable tourism and creating opportunities for local communities.

James Carr, Director, Loch Lomond Castle Lodges (Holdings) Ltd

“We have benefitted from excellent demand and firmly believe now is the time to invest for growth and expand the site by adding 11 new self-catering garden lodges. Cambridge & Counties Bank has been a strong financial partner for the past six months, and it is natural for us to work together again as we realise this exciting next step.”

Kevin Morgan, Managing Director, Cornerstone Commercial Finance

“Cambridge & Counties Bank has been a fantastic partner this year. Their team is responsive, flexible, and genuinely understands the needs of our clients. It’s refreshing to work with a lender that values relationships as much as we do.”

Recognition and Responsibility

We were proud to receive the 2025 Fast Payer Award from Good Business Pays, recognising our commitment to supporting SME supply chains and paying suppliers promptly. Our savings proposition was named Best Business Fixed Account Provider at the Business Moneyfacts Awards, proof of our dedication to delivering exceptional service.

Donald Kerr, CEO, Cambridge & Counties Bank
