Cambridge & Counties Bank’s asset finance team is growing, bringing its hire purchase, finance leases and chattel mortgages to more British businesses.
Freshly named as New Challenger of the Year for 2016 in the Leasing World Awards, Cambridge & Counties has recruited an additional Business Development Manager for the North and Scotland.
Simon Hilyer, who has worked in asset finance for 24 years, lives in West Yorkshire and joins an asset finance team which launched in summer 2015.
Simon, who was most recently with Lloyds Bank, said:
“I’m looking forward to working with finance brokers and their customers to help businesses invest and grow, from Yorkshire to all points north.
“For a relatively new team there is vast experience of asset finance, allied to Cambridge & Counties’ personal and flexible approach of ‘can do’ lending.”
Cambridge & Counties believes simplicity and a common sense approach are key to helping businesses take advantage of borrowing to finance assets. There is often more to a loan application than any tick-box form can cover. Cambridge & Counties ensures businesses have support through the application process and beyond.
Mike Oxby, director of asset finance, said:
“Simon brings an extensive knowledge of asset finance and business. His arrival shows our appetite to lend and our desire to be a speedy, straightforward partner for businesses in the North and Scotland.”
