Specialist lender Cambridge & Counties Bank has expanded its presence in the London and South East with the appointment of Nick Cox to the role of Relationship Manager within the real estate finance team.
Nick joins Cambridge & Counties Bank with a 17-year career in banking, initially in treasury markets and then real estate finance. Following a 13-year period at Nationwide Building Society, he spent a short time at Secure Trust Bank before working for the past four years at Handelsbanken in London.
Nick has a breadth of real estate experience which runs from origination, relationship management, restructuring and deal execution.
Cambridge & Counties Bank saw enhanced demand for its real estate product suite in 2021 across the UK, illustrating the strength and competitiveness of the bank’s products as well as its customer-centric business model. In London and the South East the bank has seen particular activity around commercial and mixed-use assets, alongside the more conventional residential and HMO properties.
In 2022, the bank is expecting to significantly expand its regional teams to cater for client demand for its suite of dedicated lending products.
